Post-Trip Notes

What am exhilarating and exciting trip! Traveling to enjoy times and places over 2000 years ago was exceptional. Spending 7 days on the River Nile was the best way to see so many sites. We arrived in Cairo, and visited the sites of Giza, the Pyramids and the infamous Sphinx.

We flew from Cairo to Luxor to board our cruise ship which was newly commissioned and a treat to be on. Travelers checked with us after seeing their cabins to be sure they were in the right ones. Simply fantastic!

We visited such sights as the Luxor Temple, Karnak and the Valley of the Kings. We sailed to Edfu then on to Kom Ombo.

Further into our cruise we arrived at Aswan and rode a motorized boat to Philae Temple on the island of Agilika. We traveled to Abu Simbel and the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. Then enjoyed the beautiful scenery on our relaxing cruise to Kom Umbo going to Edfu and the Temples of Adybdos and the Temple of Hathor at Denderah.

We enjoyed a Farewell Captain’s dinner then flew back to Cairo for two nights and ended our trip by flying home.
